Hachinohe Gakuin Kosei High School Correspondence course

光星学院高等学校

Guided by a Catholic philosophy of holistic education, our Hachinohe Gakuin Kosei High School Correspondence course mission is to be “a school that fosters the personal strength to live life with resilience,” “a school that nurtures individuals capable of adapting to the changing times,” and “a school that cultivates individuals who meet society’s expectations.” We strive to be a school that is loved and supported by many, and one that is chosen by students, parents, and the local community.

For ease of commuting, our school is located in downtown Hachinohe (Nijusankichō). It is about a 15-minute walk from JR Hachinohe Line’s Hachinohe Station, and the Nijusankichō bus stop is right nearby, making it a very convenient environment for commuting.

Physical education classes are held at the YS Arena. This facility is also about a 15-minute walk from Hon-Hachinohe Station on the JR Hachinohe Line. It is a well-equipped public facility where students can receive a solid education.

Five teachers are always on campus. Even on days without in-person classes (face-to-face instruction), students can feel free to consult with them at any time regarding questions about report writing or any concerns they may have.
