  • Kosei Gakuin High School was established out of Shiragiku Gakuen Academy.

March 23, 1959

  • Kosei Gakuin Educational Corporation was approved to launch.

March 31, 1959

  • Shiragiku Gakuen Academy was officially named Kosei Gakuin High School.

April 01, 1959

  • Kosei Gakuin High School was established and run by Kosei Gakuin Educational Corporation.

June 01, 1967

  • Kosei Gakuin High School, Shinonome Kindergarten was established.

July 01, 1968

  • Kosei Gakuin High School, Tagadai Kindergarten was established.

  • Hachinohe Junior College, Early Childhood Education Department was established.

April 01, 1973

  • Hachinohe Junior College changed its name to Kosei Gakuin Hachinohe Junior College.
  • Kosei Gakuin Noheji Industrial High School was established.
  • Kosei Gakuin Hachinohe Junior College, Shirogane Kindergarten was established.

  • Kosei Gakuin Technical High School of Automotive Mechanics Department was established.

  • Kosei Gakuin Hachinohe Junior College, Anne Kindergarten was established.

  • Kosei Gakuin Hachinohe Junior College, Biwano Kindergarten was established.

  • Kosei Gakuin Noheji Automobile Engineering Technical School was established.
  • Kosei Gakuin Hachinohe Junior College, Shinonome 2 Kindergarten was established.

  • Hachinohe University, Faculty of Commerce, Department of Commerce was established.

April 01, 1984

  • Kosei Gakuin, Noheji Engineering Technical School, Department of Information Accounting was established (formerly named Kosei Gakuin Noheji Automobile Engineering Technical School.)

  • Kosei Gakuin Information Center established.

  • Completion of Kosei Gakuin Information Center.

  • Hachinohe Junior College, Department of Management Information, was established at.

  • Completion of Hachinohe University Building 3.

  • Kosei Gakuin High School, Department of Social Welfare, was established.

April 06, 1992

  • Completion of Hachinohe University Student Union 5 .  

April 01, 1997

  • Kosei Gakuin Noheji Industrial High School changed its name into Kosei Gakuin Noheji-Nishi High School.

April 01, 1999

  • Kosei Gakuin, Noheji Engineering Technical School, Department of Information Accounting was closed.

April 01, 2004

  • Hachinohe University changed the name of the Faculty of Commerce, Department of Commerce to the Faculty of Business, Department of Business.
  • Kosei Gakuin Hachinohe Junior College changed the name and student capacity (the Department of Early Childhood Education formerly accepted 80 students; it is now named the Department of Child Care and accepts 100 students; the Department of Management Information formerly accepted 100 students; the current name is the Department of Contemporary Business and accepts 80 students.)

  • Information and Accounting Course at Kosei Gakuin Noheji High School of Engineering was closed.

April 01, 2005

  • Faculty of Human Health and the Department of Human Health was established to establish at Hachinohe University.
  • Kosei Gakuin Hachinohe Junior College changed its name to Hachinohe Junior College.
  • Kosei Gakuin High School student enrollment change. (Business Department formerly accepted 80 students, now accepts 40 students.  The Industrial Arts Department formerly accepted 240 students, now accepts 120 students.)
  • Kosei Gakuin West Noheji High School student enrollment change (the General Department formerly accepted 80 students, now accepts 0 students.  The Combined General Course Department formerly accepted 280 students, now accepts 200 students.)
  • Name changes of kindergartens:
    • Kosei Gakuin High School, Shinonome Kindergarten changed its name to Hachinohe Junior College, Shinonome Kindergarten.
    • Kosei Gakuin Hachinohe Junior College, Tagadai Kindergarten changed its name to Hachinohe Junior College, Tagadai Kindergarten.
    • Kosei Gakuin Hachinohe Junior College, Shirogane Kindergarten changed its name to Hachinohe Junior College, Shirogane Kindergarten.
    • Kosei Gakuin Hachinohe Junior College, Anne Kindergarten changed its name into Hachinohe Junior College, St. Anne Kindergarten.
    • Kosei Gakuin Hachinohe Junior College, Biwano Kindergarten changed its name to Hachinohe Junior College, Biwano Kindergarten.

  • Hachinohe Junior College, Contemporary Business Department does no longer accept students.
  • Department of Life Design was approved to establish at Hachinohe Junior College.

March 31, 2007

  • The Department of Current Business at Hachinohe Junior College was closed.
  • Hachinohe Junior College, Shirogane Kindergarten was closed.

April 01, 2007

  • Hachinohe Junior College Affiliate Kindergarten was established. (Formerly Hachinohe Junior College, Shinonome Kindergarten, student enrollment numbers changed from 125 students to 160 students.)

October 02, 2007

  • Hachinohe Junior College, Tagadai Kindergarten was closed. 

March 28, 2008

  • Completion of Kosei Gakuin High School Renovation (Buildings 1 & 2, Gymnasium, Automotive Workshop).Kindergarten new nursery school building attached to the Hachinohe junior college is completed

  • Hachinohe Junior College, Nursing Department approved for establishment.80 entrance to school capacity

March 31, 2009

  • Kosei Gakuin Noheji Technical School of Engineering closure was approved.

April 01, 2009

  • Hachinohe Junior College, Nursing Department established; Life Design Department student enrollment numbers changed from 80 to 40.
  • Hachinohe University student enrollment numbers changed. (The Business Department formerly accepted 100 students, now accepts 80.  The Human Health Department formerly accepted 100 students, now accepts 80.)

March 18, 2010

  • Hachinohe Junior College approved and certified eligible by Junior Colleges Fundamental Association.

March 25, 2011

  • Hachinohe University approved and certified by Japan Educational Board.

April 01, 2012

  • Kosei Gakuin High School student enrollment change. (Business Department formerly accepted 40, now accepts 30; Industrial Arts Department formerly accepted 120 students, now accepts 80.)
  • Kosei Gakuin West Noheiji High School student enrollment change. (The Combined General Department formerly accepted 200 students, now accepts 150.)
  • Hachinohe Junior College, affiliated Kindergarten student enrollment change. (Formerly 160, now 200.)

  • All schools have adopted the official name, “Hachinohe Gakuin” to reflect overall organizational changes.
    • Hachinohe University changed its name to Hachinohe Gakuin University.
    • Hachinohe Junior College changed its name to Hachinohe Gakuin Junior College.
    • Kosei Gakuin High School changed its name to Hachinohe Gakuin Kosei High School.
    • Kosei Gakuin Noheji-Nishi High School changed its name to Hachinohe Gakuin Noheji-Nishi High School.
    • Hachinohe Junior College Affiliate Kindergarten changed its name to Hachinohe Gakuin Junior College Affiliate Kindergarten.
    • Hachinohe Junior College, St. Anne Kindergarten changed its name to Hachinohe Gakuin Junior College Affiliate Kindergarten, St. Anne.
    • Hachinohe Junior College, Affiliate Kindergarten Shinonome 2 changed its name to Hachinohe Gakuin Junior College Affiliate Kindergarten, Shinonome 2.
    • Hachinohe Junior College, Biwano Kindergarten changed its name to Hachinohe Gakuin Junior College Affiliate Kindergarten, Biwano. (This kindergarten is no longer accepting applications.)

  • Closing of the Nursing Department in Hachinohe Gakuin Junior College.
  • Official name change from the Faculty of Human Health to the Faculty of Health Medicine.
